university of Miami ABSN Summer 2017

Hello,

The application cycle for University of Miami ABSN for Summer 2017 just opened today. Wondering if anyone is applying! I will be sending my application in a few weeks. Deadline is March 1st. But its rolling admission so the earlier you apply the earlier you hear back! Good luck to everyone. Also if someone is currently a student in the ABSN program, please share your thoughts about the program to help the rest of us who are applying :)

Hey teeeee. It depends on how many transcripts you have and the number of courses. It only took 9 days for all of mine to be verified. I had 2 transcripts including a bachelors and a masters. So it is possible that you can make the deadline. Best wishes!

Has anyone already been accepted for summer 2017? I haven't heard back yet and I'm currently in my last prerequisite so I'm just wondering when in May would the program would actually start. Does anyone have an exact date?!

I still haven't received anything by mail or email but my application does say complete now. Im hoping this means that we will be receiving something soon!

Hi murphygirl22! No one has heard for summer yet! Last I heard, they haven't sent anything out yet but hope to soon. According to last years - first people found out February 17th and the year before that the 23rd. They received my application September 11th because I was originally applying for spring so I was one of the first and they said I'd be in the first group to find out & I haven't heard anything yet! Although I was told my decision had already been made! Good lucj guys! I can't wait til they start sending decisions. Maybe it'll be like last year and we'll hear tomorrow! Can't wait!!

How many classes a semester do you get? Also, I would be living off of loans-- therefore, how long before they give you your refund check?

I have a quick question, you said you know U of M will ask for my transcripts if NursingCAS haven't sent them but I thought U of M doesn't get any of my info until NursingCAS send over everything

They would email you and ask for you to send them! They sent me an email like that for spring because that's when I was planning to apply originally. So nearing the deadline I got an email saying to mail my transcripts to the nursing department
