University of Memphis(LCoN) Fall 2020 Loewenberg College of Nursing

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to start a discussion for LCoN Fall 2020 applicants. I am a student at SW and will graduate in May 2020 with a A.S. .
I applied to LCoN and currently have a pending course in A &P 2 and Statistics that I will be completing this Spring 2020 at SW. I am giving it a shot and applying , although I heard LCoN looks at everyone that finished all Sciences first, I spoke to them and was still encouraged to apply because everything is based on the type of applications and there have been semesters where they have accepted a pending course during the time of application , but by entry Fall 2020 I will have finished all prerequisites and General ed. requirements . I dont mind sharing my stats. I have a current 4.0 Science GPA and a overall GPA of 3.94 at Southwest Comm College. Any advice or experiences with this process would love to hear! @Nursetay I haven’t tried contacting them yet. I'm sure things will probably be delayed till they get adjusted.Takes up to 6 weeks after deadline of application which was I think Feb 14 I think . so if we do get anything based on normal circumstances it would be by end of next week I’m guessing.

So I called the school and their machine said that we will receive "an email notification on or after April 1st" regarding our applications.

I just received an Email saying I’ve been wait listed. I really don’t know what to do anymore I’m so discouraged. I’m going to call in the morning and see how far on the list am I. I’ve always finished all my science classes. And I’m in my last 3 general Ed classes now. I hope someone else has better luck

Still waiting to hear back. Do y'all think they will all come out today? I'm assuming it's past regular business hours so are y'all just now receiving emails? Or were they sent an hour or so ago and y'all just now seeing them?
