University of Memphis(LCoN) Fall 2020 Loewenberg College of Nursing

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to start a discussion for LCoN Fall 2020 applicants. I am a student at SW and will graduate in May 2020 with a A.S. .
I applied to LCoN and currently have a pending course in A &P 2 and Statistics that I will be completing this Spring 2020 at SW. I am giving it a shot and applying , although I heard LCoN looks at everyone that finished all Sciences first, I spoke to them and was still encouraged to apply because everything is based on the type of applications and there have been semesters where they have accepted a pending course during the time of application , but by entry Fall 2020 I will have finished all prerequisites and General ed. requirements . I dont mind sharing my stats. I have a current 4.0 Science GPA and a overall GPA of 3.94 at Southwest Comm College. Any advice or experiences with this process would love to hear! Hello! I also applied to LCON for fall 2020. Super nervous, I have finished all the prerequisite courses and general ed. My science GPA is 4.00. I've been checking this to see if anyone has responded, thought I would and hopefully more people will join:) Good luck to everyone!

Hi i also applied for fall 2020 my overall is 2.88 and my sciebce gpa is 4 do you guys think i have a chance to get in with such low overall gpa??

Well your science GPA is good! Its all going to depend on the competetion and types of applications, my brother got in at his 3rd try and never gave up so Good luck !

I finished all my prereqs, except Micro, in California at Sac State ?

Can I ask what your brothers stats were?

I don’t remember his

overall gpa but his science

gpa was a 3.7, my cousin got in first

time with 3.75 science gpa

I really hope i get in because i don’t have a back up plan plus I’m 37 years old? i don't want to wait more☹️

Hi everyone! I just checked The status of my application and It Is still at ‘review’ i heard that it should be changed to under review??

Hey! I just checked mine says under review but I know they have many applications and takes 6 weeks to make a decision , they probably haven't gotten to yours yet .
