Hi everyone,
I have an interview coming up for University Medical Center (Tucson) and would like a heads up on how their interviews go...
Also, any input from nurses who work there would be great... so far all I know is what I've read here and from the website.
Thank you!!!!!!

I just answered your question in that other post. Best thing to do is to tell them that you think you will learn a lot as a new nurse if you work at UMC. I think their interview process has changed sinse I was interviewed. Now they do peer interviews where there may be like 2 or 3 interviers and if they like you they will refer you to the unit manager, and then the unit manager will interview you for a job. That's how I think it is now. HA! so I was lucky and got in at a good time when I only had to be interviewed by one person haha. Well let me know if you get the job and what floors you applied on.
But anyways, you made a good choice by picking UMC. Any of the nurses will tell you that if you ask them to compare to the other hospitals in tucson.

David,
Thanks so much for your responses. And yes I got the job! Very excited to work at UMC. The interview went pretty well and got some laughs in too :) I will be working on Surgical unit, ah, for the life of me I can't remember what the number is... haha, hope to see you there!
