I applied for early decision bsn 2025 umson. For anyone who applied, has anyone heard anything?

From a phone call I had with them, they said later this month

Yeah I reach out to them, and they told me by the first week of december I should see my reward. Still nothing yet though.

Has anyone received a financial aid letter or even a bill? It's kinda frustrating that we can't get a solid date on when this will happen. Had I not asked this thread, we wouldn't even know how much the first semester will be.

Good luck to everyone, I hope everyone gets in. I'm going into 3rd semester in Spring 2025 at the shady grove campus. Hope to meet you guys in alittle over a month.

That's awesome!! What do you love/dislike about the program (if anything)?

Most of the professors are supportive. I wouldn't use the word dislike, however I feel they could be alittle more organized, and for clinicals you will rank, however , you might not always get the area you picked, that what happened  to me. I was 1 hr away from my house,But overall great program. I learned alot, and I'm still learning.

Hey everyone congrats on getting in! If you don't mind sharing your stats before applying , I plan to take the TEAS soon and I've taken A&P 1 and 2 and got C's, and I still need to take Microbiology but besides my science classes I have all A's. I'm feeling very discouraged because of my science grades. Did you all have all the required classes completed before applying ?

If you guys don't mind sharing, what did you score on the TEAS? I take it tomorrow and I feel underprepared and I just want to know what to expect because I can't retake it before the application deadline. Is proficient and advanced still competitive?

Good luck on the test tomorrow! The TEAS isn't too bad, you will need to know things from the 4 core sciences and Bio, there's reading comprehension stuff, and the math portion is basic math and basic algebra. I think if you took most of your pre-reqs already you'll be prepared. A lot of people in my cohort scored proficient and they got in so don't stress too much!

Hi everyone! Congrats on being in nursing school! I have a quick question for everyone! A friend of mine is applying early admit for Spring 2026 and she's wondering if classes start on Jan 20th, how early does she have to be available? Did you guys meet before the start of classes? Can anyone provide any insight? I graduated a long time ago so I can't remember anything 🙃
