Hi everyone,

I applied two months ago and haven't heard anything. I know the priority deadline was this past Monday so wondering if anyone has heard that's applied or how long it usually takes.  I've called but goes to vm. Thanks.

Thank you everyone! Speaking your acceptances into fruition!

I applied by September 1. Do you think decisions will come out all at the same time or will I have to wait months and expect a decision end of October?

I think you should get a decision by mid October

I think you should get a decision by end of October, I don't think you'll have to wait too long

Quick question friends,  I applied to the program for last semester and got denied so I figured I re apply. What were you guys grades/ GPA's? My cumulative GPA about a 3.2 and I have plenty experience in health care. I hope I get accepted this time around 🥺🥺🥺. Has anyone heard back from admissions regarding their application status?

Hi Paige! My cumulative GPA was a 3.63 and my science GPA was a 3.45. If I'm not mistaken, consideration may lean more towards your science GPA as opposed to your cumulative. If your science GPA is below a 3.0, you may have to write a strong essay to supplement not meeting the GPA criteria, otherwise you would have to retake any prerequisites to make you more competitive. I didn't think mine was enough either so I did the Essay plus the supplemental essay, and I received my acceptance a little under a month ago.

I hope this helps, good luck!!

Thank you, sorry excuse my science GPA is like a 3.2 ish. When did you submit your application?

Me*

Also, congratulations! That is so exciting to hear!

Hi Paige,

my overall GPA was a 2.8 and my science was a 2.9 GPA. I got accepted a month ago, I had a strong essay and strong recommendation letters from my teachers and few doctors that I worked with.  I did also repeat my science prerequisite ( anatomy 1&2 , Microbiology and got 4.0). I submitted my application in June for prior deadline but didn't hear back until September. I'm sure you will get in this time

Thank you for the encouragement and for all the feedback. I really appreciate all of you guys help. I really hope I do get accepted this time around because this program seems so perfect academically and financially. I feel as though my essay was strong as well as my reasoning for not getting the best grades in certain classes. I also have so much experience in health care. Thank you guys again and congrats to you as well.

Don't worry, you are next!

Got an email today saying if you met the Sept 1 deadline decisions will be out this week!
