University of Maryland CNL Accepted Students Fall 2010

I thought this would be a great place to move registration/orientation questions for newly admitted CNL students at University of Maryland.

Hi Everyone,

I've been following this post for awhile now but just joined allnurses.com. I will be attending the CNL program this Fall and I'm very excited to meet everyone! Unfortunately I'm still working (last day is July 30th!!!), so I won't be attending the welcome event on the 16th.

FYI, I've been looking around for white shoes to wear during our labs. I love Nike's BUT most of them have the mesh around the toes which is not allowed. Puma has all white "speed cats" that are very good looking :D and extremely comfortable as well, I wore them while waiting on tables... They are sold at Finish Line.

Hey all,

I've spoken to a few nurses and they all said Nike Shox are the best! I'm still trying to find them in all white though. I wonder if I could get away with a little bit of silver in the shoe?

Also Blondell,

Do you know if we will be starting our clinicals in the first semester? I'm trying to get a better idea of how much time I'll be away in class/clinic so I can plan ahead. However everyone at the school I've contacted said that I will learn everything I need to know in orientation. But that's so far away and only a few days before school starts.

I found the Nike Shox in all white without the mesh toe part. Check Finish Line's website. Also I did speak with someone at the school and we do not have clinicals the first semester.

Turns out I won't be attending Maryland this fall after all.

I already bought most of the books required for the classes, so If you have not and need some please message me. I will be very reasonable with the prices.
