Can anyone tell me how specific are they with the uniform shoes? Can I get away with a small amount of silver on the sneaker?

University of Maryland CNL Accepted Students Fall 2010
Hey all, I've spoken to a few nurses and they all said Nike Shox are the best! I'm still trying to find them in all white though. I wonder if I could get away with a little bit of silver in the shoe? Also Blondell, Do you know if we will be starting our clinicals in the first semester? I'm trying to get a better idea of how much time I'll be away in class/clinic so I can plan ahead. However everyone at the school I've contacted said that I will learn everything I need to know in orientation. But that's so far away and only a few days before school starts.

University of Maryland CNL Accepted Students Fall 2010
Does anyone know exactly what uniform is required for CNL students? I've started my hunt for my supplies but they were not specific of color, brand ect. Also I've spoken to many nurses who say that the best shoe to wear are nike shox. I'm wondering is something as small as the swoosh being another color would cause a problem with their requirements. Any suggestions?

My application still says "committee ready" also, but if they already sent out a first batch of acceptance letters, and I haven't received one that makes me ... hopefully I'll be in that "2nd" round of letters in Mid-April

WOW! you really drove all the way from Baltimore everyday? I can't imagine that traffic in the morning! It is really relieving to hear you say such good things about MU. What would be the best way to prepare for classes (books, supplies, uniforms ect.)? Or should I just wait until orientation? Also, I'm curious about clinicals? Where you able to choose a location near your residence? Did you have any problems finding employment after? THanks so Much!
