I also applied and reached out to them for update. I was told they're still going through the accreditation process and hoping to have an answer by the end of the month then they can give us acceptances/denials.

When did you receive this update? Their website has it stated that they already received the accreditation status. But yes, May was the goal during the info session.

I received the update this past Tuesday, but im si glad they finally got their accreditation!! Yay! I have yet to check the website.

Well, maybe your info is more relevant and the process is not necessarily fully complete. But at least we know they are very confident about it if they posted it to their programs official page. Thank you for your insight!

They gave me that update on Tuesday. I reached out to them on Friday after seeing that the accreditation was successfull and my application is undergoing review. They told me they have multiple people review the applications at UIC.

I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah as of Tuesday they told me they were still reviewing. I reached out on Friday and my application is still undergoing review.

Application status went blank this morning then about 4 hours later got rejection. Bummed out but trying to see it as a blessing in disguise. I felt the application process was rather unthoughtful - the Kira assessment questions being exact same as essay questions being one of the reasons, among others. Best of luck to everyone!

Sorry to hear this and hoping the best for your next application! Thank you for sharing with the forum. They mentioned in the info session that they wouldn't be able to do interviews as well as they wanted to this year given the quick turnaround time starting in August, unfortunately. So maybe next year if you apply again, it'll be different! Your yes is coming and thanks for the good luck wishes!

I just received an email my application was updated. I received a denial. Did anyone get accepted? I wonder if the program is going to start next year rather than this year!
