University of Illinois Chicago DNP Nurse Anesthesia Fall 2025 start! Starting this discussion because I could not find one, who has applied? Who was able to attend the information session and could share some information for those that missed it? Thank you!

I put my application in on 4/25 I think. I got look at my supplemental application and I just received an email from admission. My application when from complete, under department review to additional review required which took about a week.  Then it went blank today and I got rejected. From what I have seen on Reddit if you get additional review then it goes blank..it could mean rejection.

Also, following up on the question about living near campus. The website for NA program it appears you need to live a commutable distance to campus (it specifies chicago, indiana, and wisc I believe)

Does anyone know if applications were being reviewed as they were sent it, or just reviewed after the deadline? Also did the admissions email say anything specific? I haven't received anything yet from admissions so I'm curious if we'll hear from them directly or will see it on the portal.

August 25th from what I remember.

You will find out via supplemental application first if you check it often, then a few hours after they will send you an email.

Doesn't mean anything check your supplemental app for updates, which is on the Uic website.

My current status is "additional review required"

It used to say "complete, under review by department or committee”… something along those lines. Not sure what the change means or how long until final verdict comes through?

 

Curious if they plan to have their established 20 selected students for the class before releasing the acceptances.

When did you apply? Someone on this thread applied on the 25th and already heard back. I did not apply until May 1st. LOL
