Considering somebody said there was already a cohort meeting, I'm assuming these are denials going out now that they've met their cohort. Hoping maybe they got some more spots and there will be some acceptances but pretty sure this is just them sending final denials to the rest of us waiting 

Over 500 people applied and all 20 have accepted their spot. Those that got the rejection first probably didn't meet standards. Anyone under review needs to see that as a denial now since there is a waitlist group as well. If this is the program you really want I bet there will be more openings next year. Keep your head up!

Did you get accepted? You seem to have the most information on meetings and such. Congratulations if so! How did you hear that over 500 people applied?

No my cousin did. I got under review but got into Pitt. Just here to share info

I think after seeing this whole process I'm swayed away from this school. Lots of other amazing options with good communication ! good luck all:)

has anyone who recently had their app change to additional review required had an update today? 

im not delusional, im taking this as a denial, but I would just love some communication and reasoning behind the process they put us through (those of us who still haven't heard an answer.)

No I'm still additional review.  Also strange cause the FB group shows 19 from the previous 21. And with applications opening up again in August this is just so confusing. I'll admit I'm still delulu 😆

Mine changed to waisted today. Anyone else get that by chance? I'm wondering if it's a legit waisted, or if the wait-list is like 100 people.

Maybe you'll get an email with more info? Regardless, congratulations!! A waitlist is better than a rejection- and I wouldn't be surprised if spots open up!
