University of Houston at Sugar Land BSN for 2nd degree seeking students?

hello everyone,

last week we had an education day at the hospital where i work. there were representatives from several different colleges and universities there. i spoke with someone from the u of h sugar land nursing dept., and she stated that they were in the process of creating a bsn program for students who already have a bachelor's degree. the program has not yet been approved, but they are trying to get approval for fall 2008. the information will not be on the website until the program is approved. she said it will most likely be sometime in april or may. i'm so excited. has anyone else heard about this program?

i had not heard about that but think that is absolutely wonderful! we need more nursing schools in the area to address the nursing shortage!
