Just started the app for this school's program. Anyone else thinking of applying here? I'm pretty annoyed at how expensive the application is: $100 for the grad school and $65 for the NursingCAS application system! This will be one of my fallback schools in case I don't get into my favorites...but the surf life and the tropical breeze does sound very very appealing! Also, anyone know anything about this school's reputation?
Thanks!
Sam
i turned my sir on march 5th I think. I filled out my fafsa like the 2nd week of feb., did you log on to you myUH account? Thats where my Financial aid offer was. i had no clue where to check, i thought that they would send me an email notification but I didnt get one, I have never received financial aid before so i was totally lost so by friend helped me find it, lol, and I just received it last friday
@nanichan yeah i spoke to ****** a couple days ago and he said 1-2 weeks. although that is already 1-2 PAST the time we were supposed to find out! So frustrating. I think that means we are unknowingly on the waiting list. We need to wait for those who decline their offers to see of there is space for us. Maybe? Waiting as usual.....
@Ceci81 check out Fastweb : Scholarships, Financial Aid, Student Loans and Colleges i know the UHM scholarship deadline already passed.
Hi everyone!
I haven't heard of anyone that applied or got accepted to my program. I'm accepted for the Adult Clinical nurse specialist track. In regards to the HRSA scholarship. I read through all the fine print and because we are considered a direct entry program, I don't believe we are eligible for scholarship. If anyone knows otherwise please share. We are possibly eligible for loan forgiveness. I'm totally stressing on this end trying to figure out how I'm going to pay for the program. Getting in was huge but figuring out how to finance this is a beast! Good luck to those still waiting:) I'm rooting for you all!
@ ceci I personally haven't tried but I heard there are a lot of scholarships available.
@nanichan awwww man!!! So sorry about that. I haven't gotten a letter yet. Hopefully I don't! Well even though you didn't get in, don't give up! Keep trying to apply to mepn and other programs! There are plenty in hawaii! HPU, university of Phoenix, and KCC of course! Good luck in getting in somewhere oneday!!!

I haven't received a financial aid offer yet. Did you get yours by email or snail mail? I submitted my Form A mid-Feb, and my SIR around March 1st. How long did it take for you to get your financial aid offer after you submitted that stuff? I'm in California too!
Oh, I completed my FAFSA a while ago too.
