I got my BSN at FAU so I did also apply there as a back up; they don't have acute care programs, so I had to apply to their FNP program as my backup. I would assume that these schools accept their own alumni first before accepting others but I am not sure. I do know that UF's minimum GPA requirement is a 3.0 and I did here that UF's FNP program is their most competitive program.
Hi!
I am also applying to the FNP program for fall 2023! This is my school of choice but I am also applying to FGCU as a backup. This week I’m going to submit my response to the 2 questions and follow up on my reference letters from 2 people. I’m really keeping my fingers crossed ?
Also, I wonder if wether you pick full time or part time makes a difference? As in, do they only accept X amount of students total, or a certain amount for both full time and part time. I’m picking part time because I have 3 little ones and will also continue to work!

I wanted to start this forum for all applying for the UF BSN-DNP for Fall 2023. I know applications just opened up last month but wanted to start early! I personally applied for the Fall 2021 cycle, sadly did not make it. The email I received stated there were too many applicants that cycle. So after a move to ER nursing from med surg and raising my babies just a little more; I have decided to give this another go!!
