university of detroit mercy second degree program

I am thinking about going to Mercy's accelerated second degree program but I hear they lose many people during the year due to grades. Is that true? Is it too fast and should I consider a 2 year program? I am a good student but I'd hate to spend all that money then not make it as they don't allow anyone to retake a class so I hear as other schools do. I am open to all feedback. Thank you.

I was accepted in for the Fall 2017 Program, has anyone else received their acceptance?? I hope to see some of you at the orientation :)

Hi everyone! I also just got accepted for Fall 2017! I am way beyond excited to start. I hope we all can get our "Pre-program things to do" done as soon as possible (meaning before the deadline). I just talked to recent graduates of UDM and they love the program, one from traditional and one Second Degree BSN holder. They told me to focus focus FOCUS! I am sure we can do this with top honours! Hopefully I see you all also at orientation! Congrats sarah39 and jbrown796? I think I saw a different post that you said you also got accepted jbrown796.

No I haven't, I called the school about two days ago. I was told that scheduling for SDO students is still being worked out. And that we should continue to check our UDM email. I really hope we're contacted about it soon, I'm so anxious to find out the schedule.

Yes, let's do that! I'm going to barely work, I'm contingent already at my job. So I'm just going to work a few days a month just to keep employment. What about you?
