University of Cincinnati's Online FNP Spring 2014

Hello everyone. Excited to find out that I've been accepted to start University of Cincinnati's online FNP program in January 2014. I was hoping to speak with anyone who is going through the program currently or has been accepted for this semester! I would love to her personal experiences about the program!

I have emailed mine and she said she was waiting for a transcript that my school already sent. She also said she needed a transcript for a school I never attended. So my application was not even submitted yet. It's really frustrating. I sent her an email explaining this (and I had the school resend the transcript) and I still have not received a response more than 48 hours later. I'm hoping my application gets submitted soon.

Let me know if you hear something. Good luck! I called & she just said it could take 8-10 weeks for a decision. Its almost been 4. I'm so tired if waiting!

Received my acceptance letter today to UC for FNP program. I start Jan 2014. Want to hear from current or future students if you have any advice!

Ashley i was told they would email it and to also check Spam folder as some has been known to go there as well.

That's good, hopefully you will hear something in the next week or so. I think someone posted not too long ago she heard in 30 days or 4 wks...something like that...I'm sure they are finishing up Jan term seats first before looking at May so I really don't expect to hear anything til closer to the end of Nov for myself. =) Can't wait to hear you say you got accepted!!! =) did you check the grad website? Here is the link: https://gradapps.uc.edu/GradCheckMyStatus/ I'm not sure if it will update anything there or not, but i had that link so thought I'd share!

I would be ohhhh so grateful to hear something soon!!! The "check my status" link shows absolutely nothing!!! The waiting game is terrible...I just want to know! Good luck to you as well for the Summer session!!

Thanks Ashley, yeah my check status shows nothing either! =( It's only been a little over 2 wks though =)...I'm still holding out for Simmons College first, as if accepted I can start in March, but UC is still my back up plan for now. If I don't get into Simmons but I do get UC I'm also going to do their nurse educator courses with NP (it adds like 4 courses to the program or one sememster) because they have a special loan program that if you work as a nurse education after finishing 85% of the loan gets cancelled. We will see what happens, I figure what is meant to be is meant to be and I'll get in where I'm supposed to!
