Do they require letters of recommendation, a statement or purpose or other similar items other schools ask for?

I have emailed mine and she said she was waiting for a transcript that my school already sent. She also said she needed a transcript for a school I never attended. So my application was not even submitted yet. It's really frustrating. I sent her an email explaining this (and I had the school resend the transcript) and I still have not received a response more than 48 hours later. I'm hoping my application gets submitted soon.

No I haven't heard anything yet. Week 1 down 3-5 more weeks to go. I'll let you know as soon as I do... good or bad. Good luck to you also! :)

Me too playing the waiting game. I was hoping my UC counselor would call me and tell me YES they do have everything they need and my application IS under review now? Did anyone here get notification their application was sent in for review or should I just assume it is there and I am just waiting to hear if I got in?

Hi Tasha I applied to UC FNP also for Jan but my counselor said they are filling up and I may start Summer 2014 too. Let me know when you hear something :) Hope we both get in. I also applied at Simmons College. The FNP program there is just like Georgetown's program. You should check it out. Good Luck!

I am applying for Jan 2014 and my application is still not complete. Waiting for 1 letter of recommendation and 1 transcript. Hopefully within the next week it will be done. I am thinking my application is already late for Fall 2014.

I applied already and hope to start FNP program -part time Jan 2014 and my application was under review as of yesterday. I am looking forward to being notified of my acceptance or not. Anyone else applying for Jan 2014? I expect that I will be online watching recorded lectures and attending lectures at least 12-14 hrs a week. I plan to work full time and study with the little remaining time left every evening. I read that once you start clinical you do not spend that much time in lectures. The first few semesters will probably be the hardest but I am thankful that it fits perfectly in my schedule and lifestyle the way it does. I look forward to seeing other nurses in the program that are in this thread -assuming I am good enough for Georgetown :) If I am not then that is okay too maybe UC will take me.

Hi Tasha Sorry, I don't have a copy of my video. I created it from their website and you cannot save a personal copy. I submitted my application and the video went with it. I cannot even access what I submitted (so save copies for yourself). I will apply at UC also. It is definitely more affordable. I like that at Georgetown you can attend classes live. So, you already did everything for your application but the video? WOW very nice because I thought I had a good head start since they are admitting for November right now. It doesn't seem like anyone in here is applying for November or January. I'll let you know when I hear something.

I submitted my completed application today for the FNP Jan 2014 start date and got an email today that my application is under review. My only fear is how will I afford this program. I really do have my heart set on Georgetown. I guess if I don't get accepted then I have nothing to fear. Anyone else applying for Jan 2014 start date?

I haven't applied yet but I am wanting to apply to start Spring 2014. How did it go? Did you start and do you have any advice or recommendations?
