Anyone else waiting on acceptance to this program? My overall GPA from my BSN 21 yrs ago is a 2.99 so not sure if ill get in. Hoping my 21 yrs of nursing experience will be in my favor ;-)

I haven't applied yet but I am wanting to apply to start Spring 2014. How did it go? Did you start and do you have any advice or recommendations?

Have you considered applying at the University of Alabama-Birmingham for their WHNP program? They consider your last 60 hours to calculate your GPA, instead of only looking at your cumulative.

I'm sorry. :cry: I didn't get in to Frontier. It sucks, but some how we'll get to where we want to be if we work hard, remain hopeful, and don't give up.

I've recently reapplied for Spring 2014 and in the waiting game. I redid my goal statement and added an extra reference. If not accepted, I'm applying to USA for Summer/Fall 2014 and UAB for Fall 2014. I'm unable to qualify for the waiver since my GPA is low. I'm considering the Millers Test vs GRE for UAB. @thenursemandy Frontier will not consider me bc of my 2.99, even taking extra courses to bring up my GPA, they will not take that into consideration.
