University of California, Davis (UC Davis) New Grad Residency Spring 2023

Hey all! I just wanted to make a thread for this application cycle!

Hey you guys! Congratulations on the ones who got into the program and good luck to the ones who is waiting oh hearing back.

I have couple of questions if you don't mind. I'm on my third semester of nursing school.

Do you all have BSN? I know they strongly prefer BSN and MSN degrees but I was wondering is anyone here is with ADN degree. 

Also, did all of you do preceptorship at UC Davis?

Hey, there! I applied with an ADN and my school did not offer a preceptorship. I am currently working on my BSN. I was offered a position in this cohort's residency, but I declined because I got into my first choice residency. Congrats on being toward the end of nursing school! Shoot for the stars.

Has anyone received onboarding information? I completed my background check, but have not gotten anything else. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything!

Next steps are: 1) Drug Test, 2) Employee Health Screening Appointment, 3) I-9 Verification Appointment

Does anyone have any information about the May cohort? Are people still waiting for an acceptance update or has the acceptance already been sent for both March and May?

Also curious. My app was routed and I was called once but never to actually be offered an interview. Wondering if they might get back to us for the next cohort or do we reapply?

Did anyone ever make a facebook group for this cohort? I'd like to connect with you all, especially those in the ORTP! I want to make sure I'm not missing anything important ?
