University of Calgary Fall 2019 (Transfer/Degree Holder Route)

Hello, I applied for the UofC transfer route for Fall 2019, right now I have a 3.82 gpa but I am predicting I'll end up around a 3.7. I want to meet other applicants so if you applied for Fall 2019, say hi!

Hey! Im applying for transfer route fall 2019 as well! Got my last final back and I'm sitting at a 3.78. Do you know by the latest when we will know if we got accepted or not?

Hey Michelle, I'm not sure but I followed the January 2019 post and it seemed like it went on like 2 months after the transcript deadline so maybe august would be the latest?

I called and they said that transfer students should hear back june/july. Does anyone know other individuals that are applying for the fall 2019 transfer route? I haven't encountered too many so maybe thats good for us

Yeah! I contacted them and asked them too, they said we should hear shortly after June 1st, which is when all transcripts should be in by! And I have encountered quite a handful actually. Most of them seem to be transferring from bioSci

Hi guys! i applied to the transfer route for fall 2019 as well. Do any of you by any chance know the competitive gpa/cut off for this year? I'm so nervous i really hope to hear back soon.

Hey Ravisha, when I went to the nursing advisers last year (to get ready for transferring) they said 3.6 and above is normally good but when I emailed them a couple months ago they said it will also depend on how high everyone's gpa is. I'm nervous too, hopefully we hear back in the next 2-3 weeks or so.

I just called them and they said the competitive is a 3.80! ? i'm more nervous now, since my gpa dropped when i got my final marks.

It usually starts off high then drops all the way through August. It doesn’t stay that high for long. The lowest I’ve seen it drop to was a 3.3 but very year is different. Does anyone know the cutoff gpa for last fall?

cut off gpa last year was 3.55
