  1. I think they send it out as a collective after they finish accepting applicants?? Im not sure but I havent received anything either.
  2. @Nursingstudent2000 I wanted to ask you a question! Do you know how the process would be if I were to apply for student loans? Considering we are transfers, would we need to let them know about the change of program? I tried reading the student manual the faculty provided but it was so confusing. I might just need to call up Alberta loans for help but I was wondering if you knew off the top of your head before I call them! thanks!
  3. Oh my bad! Than its most likely because the group of transfer students who applied is so big they are still scheming through all transcripts before they make a decision. Im guessing most that applied have around the same GPA which might make it harder for the faculty to decide who to accept and who to reject. but in my personal opinion, if you havent been rejected yet, then you still have a really good chance!! So dont give up just yet! Best of luck guys!!
  4. They are most likely still looking through both degree holder and transfers transcripts considering so many have applied this year. @nvishaa the 140 is the amount of students going into 2nd year, not transfer students. ( If youve been accepted already, you can enroll in classes thats why @Nursingstudent2000 Has the exact number). Theres only 25-30 seats available for transfers, and about 90 for degree holders (don’t quote me on that, because I dont know the exact amount), and the rest would be direct entry students from last year registering for 2nd year nursing courses. Hope that helps!
  5. Hey @Seraina2020 , I dont know the cut off gpa for Degree holder but from previous years thread, alot had 3.6+ gpa. I believe it just depends on how many are applying and with what gpa. I do know that degree holders have much more seats open than transfers (25-30 seats) which should give you a better chance of getting in! Best of luck!
  6. I get email notifications, so I got an email that notified me about my change of program and then i double checked my portal and there was a check mark!
  7. just got my acceptance! Good luck guys! Cant wait to meet you all in September(:
  8. Same! I have a 3.81 GPA but havent heard anything!! So scared right now
  9. Same? and I applied the day the registration was open for applications.
  10. @Ecofeminist may i ask when you applied as well if it was transfer or degree holder??
  11. Ive been checking my portal and email religiously!! Thats great that you heard some news! I feel like you should get in considering what the past forums have been like, 3.65 seems to be safe as well as you got wait list acceptance!
  12. I feel like it has to drop since the past GPAs have been around 3.5-3.6
  13. I also emailed them about Fall 2017 GPA and it was 3.53
  14. Yep, i emailed them and they said around 25 for transfers. There are more seats open for degree holders i believe.
