University of Buffalo CRNA 2024 start

 I wanted to start a thread for those applying to University of Buffalo CRNA 2024 start.

Have interviews offers been sent out as of yet? 
 

I agree as far as the comfort I felt during the interview. And soooo confident with my answers, even admitting to something I didn't know, but when asked a mechanism of that same topic, I did know it. Felt like redemption LOL. 
The test was a blip to me. Knew most but not all. Maybe the deciding factor on my final decision. It was def CCRN style questions, so maybe going back to know the book front to back will be helpful?? Not sure why schools test if you already have the credentials... 

One day I'll be on an admissions committee and it will all make sense ?‍?

I think it was a strategy to make us all feel comfortable so we would be ourselves, which I do understand but I think it left several of us feeling like it was a sure thing. 

Of the people following the chat, how many of us made the waitlist?

Hi y'all got late to the chat LOL. Received my letter today (which was dated for November 17th? as reference to the previous comments in the thread) and got rejected so now I'm coping? Went into that interview feeling confident as hell that it went well too so just feeling dejected and disappointed. Superrr curious as to what may have went wrong or where I need to improve and will be calling them for feedback. I do know my friend/coworker who was a UB alum got his acceptance letter last Friday as well.

Just clarifying, you said your letter was dated for the 17th but received today? That's weird.

My wait list was dated for today.

Yup! which is weird. Tbh who knows how programs in general do their application process LOL. 
 

Thank you and congrats on making it to the waitlist at least! I wish you and the others prayers on hopefully getting off of that waitlist! It has been a bit of a whirlwind in general applying to all of these schools but I can't give up yet. Thankfully I have a couple more schools in PA to hear back from but most of them I won't hear from for a bit. 
 

Emailed Dr. Spulecki for feedback with a bit of grit on wanting to do what I can do to improve. Might follow up with a phone call today or tomorrow too so who knows what may come across all of our paths in this journey.

Hey everyone! I was also accepted to the upcoming class! I received my email on the 17th as well, but after a closer look the letter is indeed dated for the 21st (so interesting). Congratulations to my future classmates and I look forward to meeting some of you ? To those who didn't receive that acceptance, I wish you luck on getting into another program!

Has anyone heard anything yet? I guess we probably won't have any potential movement til the 1st? I'm curious how it has gone in the past too
