I wanted to start a thread for those applying to University of Buffalo CRNA 2024 start.

Have interviews offers been sent out as of yet?

Did everyone that found out this morning get wait listed?

Yes I was waitIisted as well.

I know they won't let us know our position on the list, but does anyone have a rough idea of how many people make the wait-list?

Did anyone following this thread get rejected? I wonder if they just waitlist everyone who didn't get accepted

Nope. Rejected.

I'm sorry this process sucks. It's gotten so much harder just due to the tripling of applications and it's ten times more competitive. I'm trying to tell myself not to give up

Yes it does suck! But I'm going to keep pushing... maybe I'll have better luck next year!

For those that got waitlisted, congrats!! I have a friend that got waitlisted last year and found out last minute that she got accepted! There's still hope as ppl are still waiting to hear back from other schools that may have been preferred over UB.

I got rejected. I'm feeling super disappointed especially because I walked out of my interview feeling like I aced it. Definitely not a fun day over here. It's frustrating when you feel like you did really well and the committee made comments that indicated they were impressed with you then to find out you're rejected. Just makes me confused on if I misjudged how the interview went or if it really was that competitive. I've been accepted to another school but it would have been great to go to UB! Good luck to everyone on your CRNA endeavors, we can all do it! Don't give up!

Thank you for that encouragement! The process is stressful. This is my second round. But first time doing the interview process. I am grateful for the experience. I am in my 6th year as a ICU nurse. Maybe next year!

Waitlisted!

I also felt like I did really well in the interview but got waitlisted (I know, fingers crossed). All I can think is maybe I didn't do as well on the quiz as I thought I did, but at the same time who knows.

Just frustrating not knowing where you fall on the waitlist. Sorry to everyone who did get a rejection, it's hard to make the process make sense.

The thing I liked about the interview was how warm the interviewers were. I feel like maybe they did give off a false sense of hope a bit. I also thought the only thing holding me back might have been 1-2 questions on the quiz but who knows (that EKG strip still haunts me to this day).
