Has anyone applied to this program to start Fall of 2023? Looking to chat and keep in touch through this process! I am getting my PALS certification next week and then should be submitted right after!

Don’t remember how many they interviewed last year but they took 18 people. Notifications were delayed and began in February and interviews were first two weeks in March. They called people about interviews and then emailed if you missed the call. Also called people about acceptances. People who were accepted found out fairly soon after the two weeks of interviews were concluded. I didn’t receive my official waitlist and then non acceptance until late April/early May.

I would also say that this school does place importance in your personal statement because they specifically pulled something from mine and mentioned it in the interview for me to speak on. And yes it is only 250 words for the person who asked earlier!

May I ask what they asked you from your personal statement? How was the interview? Was it more clinical or behavioral? Any helpful suggestions for those that may get an interview?

I don't think I can share much from the interview, but it was mostly behavioral. Just be yourself and think about what you would say to "what would you do if" and "tell me about a time" kind of questions. For my statement, they asked me about something personal that I shared. They asked to kind of elaborate on it.

Last year, we didn’t hear anything until end of Feb/early March unfortunately. We’ll probably be waiting for another month or so at least if they’re running on the same time line

The email I received after my application was officially submitted stated that they will be holding interviews in February and March. So I guess is that they will start reaching out to schedule interviews towards the end of January or beginning of February?

I hope so! I think that’s about what they told us last year but everything was delayed because of the snow storms AR had around that time. Hopefully that won’t happen this year and we’ll hear back sooner.

How much time did they give between interview invites and the actual interview? Also, how are y’all preparing for the interview?
