Anyone going to be applying? I've started working on my application already.

Specializes in ICU.

I haven’t received an email either. I attended one of the info sessions and the director said they are interviewing March 4-5, so maybe they are selecting candidates for the March 5 slot? Anyone reached out to see if they’ve sent out emails for all interview slots?

Specializes in SICU.

The email invite they send allows you to pick between both days. March 4th or 5th.

Specializes in PICU, NICU, Neuro ICU.

On your to do list for Gus, does stuff fall off of it if it is completed? My first recommendation is no longer showing up.

Yes it does.

Thank you! Did it take awhile for your stuff to fall off? I submitted my application a few days before it was due but sent my transcripts and stuff in quite a while ago and those are still saying initiated on my Gus.

Specializes in SRNA.

My To-Do list is clear. I submitted all my stuff the last week. I have overall good stats, somewhat in the middle, either my stuff wasn't submitted on time or the applicant pool was superb.

I’m in the same boat. All my stuff was submitted on time. Plenty of experience, CCRN, awesome recommendations, good gpa.

Same here. My only blemish is my overall GPA at a 3.18 but my science GPA makes up for it at 3.79. Last 60 hrs is around 3.65.

Oh man, although your overall is not perfect, your last 60 hours does show hard work and maturity. I find it bizarre why a interview wasn't extended to you. Maybe they are not done sending out interviews, but who knows.

My GPA from my first was a 2.25 so I had a lot of ground to make up.

I'm not giving up hope. I would love to interview at UAMS but I would also love to stay in Oklahoma now that Tulsa's program is up and running.

Never give up hope. It's just a matter of time. I have few upcoming interviews, i'm still debating about Tulsa it's pretty steep with tuition price. If not re-group, and start tackling the GRE, as I just applied to schools without it.

If I don’t get an interview I will just tweak my competitiveness. Next cycle I’m applying to multiple schools. Gotta keep going and have a positive mental attitude!
