I didn't get a single clinical-based question. It was mostly behavioral style questions for me. Why do you want to be a CRNA, how do you handle conflict, etc. They did ask me a few questions to clarify some things that were on my resume that they had concerns about (my first school that I withdrew from and had a poor GPA from).

Thank you so much! I really do appreciate the feedback.

Did anyone ask the program director when they would notify candidates? I see where someone was told by students service a few days to 4 weeks, but I didn’t get an opportunity to ask during mine. There also seems to be somewhat of a disconnect between student services and the teachers information.

Dr. Gonzalez told me sometime next week is when we should expect notification. I agree with the disconnect between the student services and the faculty.

Sooooo...I am excited for everyone that got accepted. Congratulations! Thats a BIG deal!!???

Now for my pitty party!...On a side note, I am so confused as to how they lied to me about other rounds of interviews. I specifically called twice this week and was told by two different ppl that they were still veiwing apps. I didn't even get a response for my app either way, which doesnt make ANY sense.

Not to rain on anyone's parade or sound entitled, but I have 7 yrs experience of ICU in level 1 trauma, CV ICU, BURN ICU, SX, Med and neuro ICUs, CCRN, honor society, all the clubs and national nsg associations I could join. My typical patient could be gsw to head /chest with bolts and icp drains to immediate postop heart sx with every cardiac gtt made. My letter wuda made a grown man cry and be inspired and GPA is good with several graduate classes. There is absolutely NO way I shouldnt have gotten at least an interview. Thank God I was accepted somewhere else, but the level of disorganization IMO, is disturbing. Sorry to sound "entitled" but it bothers me for ppl that have been working on this for yrs and didn't even get an email saying they have made a mistake and have put out wrong information about STILL veiwing apps. I expected that the 1st yr would be disorganized a little, but ppl have put their lives into getting into a program only to not even be considered for an interview.

But again, I'm EXTREMELY happy for everyone who DID get accepted and if u didn't, PLEASE DONT GIVE UP. APPLY TO EVERY SCHOOL U CAN AND CONTINUE TO improve your application. You will get your YES if u trust and depend on God!! Stay encouraged!!

Again, sorry if I sound entitled, because I really am a sweet and humble person, but I am saddened for ppl that have worked hard and still no results.
