Hi guys! Just starting a post to see who's applying this year ?

I am a little nervous about asking for references, as I've done quite a bit of traveling the last couple years and haven't been as stable at one hospital. Can anyone chime in on the reference process? I know they use the likert scale for references, but is part of this an actual letter of recommendation? Traditional letters are a little more burdensome on references (remember that from the military), so was hoping to avoid that but I'll jump through almost any hoops at this point.
From my understanding the first year is a little more flexible with most didactic coursework online with the exception of the week-long "RISE" sessions.
Asking for references is tough, and I completely relate to not wanting to "burden" someone with the task of writing a letter. But this is one of the biggest opportunities of your life, and big opportunities merit the risk of putting yourself out there. They'll be honest if they don't want to do it — give them that opportunity to say no. And if they say yes, show your gratitude and count it as another vote of affirmation that you're charting the right path. We're all in the same boat here... let's keep paddling!

Starting my application with deadline approaching soon. Does anyone know someone in the program? I am wodering if living in AZ for all 3 years will be a required since it says it's a hybrid program? Obviously once we started clinicals I imagine most sites are in AZ.
I'm not sure either. Fully prepared to be in AZ for the whole thing. Will be tough to be away from family, but the sacrifice will be more than worth it in the long run.

There is no actual letter just the scale. I used a charge nurse, a current coworker, and an old staff sergeant from military hopefully that's good enough

I'm looking at NursingCAS right now and when I get to the reference page it says "likert scale only" so good news there as this could definitely be done quickly. This will be my second school to apply to. Previously required actual letters so I made sure to tell them to save it somewhere as I'm sure there would be more. Unfortunately I was right.

I did have an issue similar to this a couple of weeks ago. I had to basically start my application over again and pull over information from my previous application. A day later after signing in again the problem seemed to have fixed itself. Not sure what was up.

I'm gonna call them tomorrow, I can't even start a new application it won't let me
Hi guys!
This is my first time applying to CRNA school. I'm curious to know about the KIRA assessment. That's where I stopped in the application process. Is this an interview? What should I prepare for as far as this part of the application. I've tried to look up what it even is and I can't seem to get any insight.
Thanks and Goodluck to everyone! ?
Just submitted my application. Good luck everyone! @landrays94 if you haven't done Kira yet, you will receive a series of questions, and then will record yourself answering them. They are mostly about past experience. There is also a short essay question.
