University of Arizona CRNA Program 2021

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey guys! Thought I would start this thread now for anyone applying to UofA’s CRNA program. I started my application this week and am just waiting for my references to submit their part. Let me know if you’re applying ?

“Nobody has to move to AZ until clinical starts 18 months in.  There is a gross anatomy course in the very first semester.  It is 5 weeks long and is usually offered in person.  This year it migrated to online because of COVID but that is not optimal.  This coming Summer we hope that it is in-person again.  Most non-residents usually get together and Air B&B or VRBO for that time frame here in Tucson.”

from the Assistant Program Director.

looking forward to do Air B&B with you classmates

Hopefully they will share our cohorts emails/names soon ?

Specializes in Cardiac ICU.

Has anyone received their official offer from the Graduate College? I'm eagerly awaiting definitive confirmation ?

I haven’t received it yet. Hopefully this week?

Not to worry.  As long as your application was truthful the offer from program will be the official acceptance that you should worry about.  The Grad College acceptance is just formality.  With all the different moving parts related to COVID and the greater university setting the Grad College is understandably little behind.

I just login in my account and paid a deposit. That gave me a piece of mind that I’m accepted. The official offer can be downloaded there too

Did you just create a new account? I didn’t know if we had to wait to create one until we got the official offer.

Same account that you used to schedule your interview at. There is a post-interview drop down tab or smth like that. That’s where I went.

Specializes in CCRN-CMC, RRT-ACCS, RPFT.

Anyone have an idea as to how many applicants were put on the wait list?

Hmm so weird. I never scheduled my interview. I just got an email with a day/time. I tried to log on to where I applied, but that didn't give me a net ID.

Same, maybe they’re thinking of a different school?

Maybe so, have you gotten the official offer from the graduate school yet? I'm also eagerly waiting. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything ?
