University of Alberta After Degree Program Fall 2021

Hi everyone! I haven't found a forum for fall 2021 entry of the after degree program at UofA yet so I though I'd start one! I am a current UofA student and have applied at numerous other schools!

Did any of you apply from the University of Victoria (uvic). How did you guys fulfill the medical Microbiology requirement? Did they accept any of uvics courses or did you have to take the Open Studies?

I just want to make sure I have a chance before I apply!

Hi!

I’m currently in the AD nursing program at UofA and I did my undergrad at UVic! I did my previous degree in biochemistry and I used MICR 408 (microbial pathogenesis) as the medical Microbiology pre-requisite 

I thought I used a document indicating what the course equivalencies are but I cannot find it anywhere! I’m sure there must be other course equivalencies besides MICR408. I would try and email the faculty of nursing to see if they can give you a more clear answer.

Thanks for they reply! Oh dang, I'm a Microbiology major and I took 2 other courses to fulfill the 400 level micro requirement so I was hoping I didn't have to take micro 408! I did email faculty and they seem to want me to apply first before they can tell me anything. Did they ask you for the course syllabus of micro 408 after you applied?
