Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to UAB for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

I applied for the Fall 2021  DNP program. When do you think we should find out?

I saw in last year’s discussion that DNP students found out in March about their acceptance status while MSN found out in April. I wonder if that will still be the case this year or if we will all find out at the same time.

Hello everyone! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing! Just wanted to let you all know that I received an email today from UAB, stating that I was accepted for the BSN to DNP Program! I selected the NNP pathway! WOOHOO!! Good luck to everyone else, I hope you all receive great news!

My application dashboard still says, congratulations your application is under review. I haven’t received emails or mails. What did yours say when you got accepted?

I just checked my application dashboard and it says, "A decision has been made regarding your application", and then I opened it and it said my decision had been mailed to me, but I haven't received anything in the mail. I got the notification about my application via email. I wouldn't say give up hope yet, keep your fingers crossed!

I didn’t make it, I received an email this morning. I not sad, I am more motivated than ever to continue to grow and strengthen my application. I’ll try again next year. Good luck , I wish you the best in the program and hopefully I’ll join soon!

Just checking in to see if anyone else will be attending the program in the fall? Or started in the Summer? Orientation for the fall semester is next week!
