Hi everybody! I was just wondering what a nurses take is on Obama's plan and universal health care? I am a pre-nursing student. Today at work (I don't work in the medical field) someone was saying how their neice is a travel nurse at a hospital in Oakland where it is almost like the plan proposed (I ditn't really understand the whole thing...) She said it was terrible because they had so many long lines and waiting lists...etc. I am for universal health care, but there is so much mis-information out there that it is sometimes hard to see the whole picture and if this is truly a plan that would work...anyway just was wondering what someone on the "frontlines" of health care thought?
