Has anyone done this program? I'm looking into it and it seems great but there are hardly any updates reviews. Thanks!
I started in May, 2020. I am 55 years old. I like the program. Most of the instructors have been great. Don't let age hold you back. The pay as you go without interest and the total cost of $27,000 was an incentive. Looking for a preceptor has been hard. I start clinicals in August. Best of luck to you. Let me know if you have any other questions. I am happy to help.
with so many online NP schools, no wonder the profession is losing its credibility. there needs to be an overhaul and standardization of NP education and entrance exams in place.
They reinstated the FNP "legacy" payment program of $375 a month for 60 months. This was due to a drop in enrollment. This incentive expired 8/2019. Current students can switch their MPP to this plan.

NYS Nursing does not recognize US University.
Why ask here? Ask NY nursing board of nursing for clear regulations? Covid has changed many req's. The assuredly relaxed practicing regulations now.
I have called NYS Nursing Board, in February. They only accept accredited NYS FNP programs. Frontier College is on hold right now.
Hey everyone, I was accepted to Carson-Newman MSN-FNP program online as well as the United States University MSN-FNP program. I am trying to weigh out which option is the best option for me and I was wondering if anyone had some insight on how this program is and how it is run?

Hi there!
I am not yet decided if I want to do FNP program at USU. I am 53 years old and presently working as a floor RN (Tele/MedSurg/PCU). I would like to get your opinions if it is still worth it for me to go to the program despite my age. The reason I am considering FNP program is because of the physical stress that my body is going through working as a floor RN. Any RN started late on their FNP program? I would like to hear your opinions.
