The first picture is one of a bill that just passed the MN legislature, largely due to the efforts of the Minnesota nurses association

The second is my hospital systems response that they emailed out last night in reponse
Funny how they suddenly have enough PPE now that there's a law that will absolutely put them on the hook for sick workers

We're winning!

Yep, our union won us inclusion in the Families First act so we no longer have to use our earned PTO for COVID related issues. Also, appropriate PPE and closer parking so employees don’t have to cram into shuttles. Too bad all unions do is take our money and allow bad employees to continue working. ?

Love it. It’s just really really sad the amount of people who have drank the kool-aid on anti-union propaganda

I’ve worked at four different hospitals over 10 years, and one was non-union. The difference is night and day. The number of crap new policies and scheduling changes my non union job pulled just because they could was stunning .

Since then I’ve never considered even interviewing at non-union hospitals
