Anyone applying? Just have a few more things to get done then I will submit my application. I have never used Nursing CAS before but kinda like it to apply to the school. Priority deadline is October 15th.

Same here. I got a call too but I already got into another program too so i turned it down as well. Good luck to whomever else is alternate out there!

Hi everyone!

I am planning to apply to Union's CRNA program this fall. I was just wondering if anyone (maybe someone in the program or someone who was accepted?) could answer a couple questions for me.

-The application has a lot of questions regarding teaching/charge RN/leadership experience. How much do you think this mattered for your acceptance? I have some leadership experience, but don't work charge/haven't really taught at all.

-Was there anything you did (experience, volunteering etc) that they seemed to really like? I am just trying to figure out what types of extra things might help me stand out.

I applied last year and got an interview but wasn't accepted. I will also be applying again this year as well. They asked during the interview about leadership experience during my interview and I told them about my experiences on my unit. The interview for Union was very laid back, get to know you, and see if your a fit for the program kind of interview. It included the program director and current instructors.

I will be. I just need to finish the support documention and upload it to NursingCAS. I applied last year as well. I'm going to start a new thread for 2020 and we can post in it.

I did, I was an alternate but that obviously did not work out in my favor ?

When did you interview? I interviewed in November with the priority deadline.
