I received my conditional acceptance into the Spring 2019 cohort in Hendersonville. I have seen similar posts for past cohorts and want to see if anyone else has received their acceptance or put their application in yet?

That's so awesome congratulations!!!! Been praying for you! I accepted a seat as well @hendersonville. Yay for us!

That is fantastic!!!!! I am so happy for you! Yay!!!!!!!!

I just got my conditional acceptance as well! Still waiting to hear back from a few schools, but I would be relocating from California. It would love to hopefully find a roommate in the program, so if anyone is looking for that as well, please reach out! Congratulations to everyone that was accepted for the spring 2019 semester!

Hello everyone,

I dont know if anyone still checks this but I received my conditional acceptance for Union University ABSN Fall 2019! I have also applied to Marian University. I was wondering if anyone could give me insight on the program at Union as I am unsure which school I would want to attend.

Hello there! I will be happy to answer any questions you have about Union. I have made it through my first session and can tell you that I've loved it so far. I know that Union has a much better reputation than marian online.

I’ve been accepted for the 2020 spring and would like to know what a regular day is like

@alixr9 did you end up attending Union at the Hendersonville campus? I'll be coming from Calfiornia as well and would love to know your thoughts

@mo1654 Hello! Yes I did, I'm in my second semester here and so far so good!! I really enjoy the program. I'm not sure if there's a way to privately message on here, but I would be happy to answer any specific questions you have!

@TeamGreatness I'm currently enrolled in the program in my second semester right now. There's not really a typical "day" schedule. It varies per session. Sessions are typically 8 weeks long. The first we had class M/W/F with two online classes. The second was M-F and I'm now in the 3rd session with class M-W and clinicals on thursdays. The next session I will have class on Tuesdays and clinicals on Friday and either monday or wednesday plus various anatomy/simulation labs on any off days. Our schedules are pretty busy. We have people that make the commute, but just be aware that for a little while you will have class monday-friday and some clinicals are in Gallatin and you'll have to be there by 6am.

@alixr9 Thanks for that info that is super helpful. I tried to message but it wouldn't allow me to.. Did you decide to live in Hendersonville or closer to Nashville? I'm assuming you can't really choose where you do your clinicals (location wise, at least)? I'm really interested in living in Nashville but wondering if it makes more sense to live in Hendersonville since I would be moving to the area for the school anyways and might as well make it as easy as possible on myself

@mo1654 I just read where you have to make 15 posts before being able to privately message? I wanted to live in Nashville, but ultimately decided to live in Hendersonville. I’m really happy with my decision, because I hate driving and traffic. I’m super close to campus and in the front of the program, you’re on campus a lot so I think it was worth it for me. It was also a lot cheaper to live here as well. With that being said, lots of people in my cohort commute and don’t seem to have any issues with it. Sometimes clinicals can be difficult because you have to be there at 6am so I’d say it just depends on if you don’t mind Commuting/waking up early!! I was very torn about not living in Nashville, but I am VERY glad that I chose to live in Hendersonville!

@mo1654 Also, you are correct about not being able to choose where/when you do your clinicals
