Union University Experience? (current students and graduates)

Published

Hello everyone

I begin the accelerated nursing program at Union University (Germantown campus) this August! I would love to hear from current students or graduates about the 15 month program.

Questions:

What was the most challenging session or course you encountered?

Did you enjoy the overall experience?

Did you feel prepared after graduation?

Are you likely to pursue a MSN through Union?

Any thoughts or information would be appreciated:)

Bless you

Best of luck to you as you enter the program! I'm hoping to start at Union in the Spring (still waiting to hear back) & curious about the same questions you asked! I'm also a little apprehensive about the psych rotation & wondering what it's like at Union.

How has your experience been so far?

Thanks y'all! I'm having a blast so far! Since a lot of my classes transferred from the U of M, I'm only having to take NUR 306, NUR 419, and Stats. I LOVE NUR 419. We are learning about nursing history, theories, culture, ethics, legal issues, and much more. I can't wait until after fall break though! I begin patho and intro to pharm. They said the intro pharm is mainly math and how to calculate dosages. Pharm 1 & 2 will be when we have to memorize meds and etc.!

Thanks so much for the info! Glad you're liking it:)
