Starting this topic for those who applied to Union University CRNA program to start in 2022. Has anyone heard anything back yet with priority deadline passing? Best of luck to everyone.

Howdy. I applied for the feb1 deadline. I am scheduled for an interview on the 28th of March. I am VERY nervous, I haven’t really done any mock interviews before. Any advice on what to expect during the interview?
thanks.

I just received an email to interview as well. Good luck to you both.

For those of you that got an interview, how was it? More personality type questions or clinical or a little of both? In the email it said 20minutes, is that right? that seems very quick!

Best of luck to everyone that’s interviewing, we hope you get the opportunity to join our class! To prep for my interview, I personally reviewed all of my study material for my CCRN, and paid special attention to my drips-mainly the ones I used in my unit. I’m in a group called ICU dreaming of Anesthesia on facebook and they have great guidance on what to expect during an interview, and I also searched the most common CRNA interview questions (the Nurse Nelle is the one I opted to go with, but several tend to overlap) and answered all of those questions and used that to prep also. From my experience my interview felt very welcoming, a lot can be said in those 20 minutes LOL. My advice is to be yourself and be honest in your answers, remember that it’s okay if you don’t know something as long as you’re able to admit that you’re open to more learning. Goodluck to you all! ?

Hi, have a virtual interview on Monday 28th. Have been reviewing my CCRN book, ICU drips and doing some mock interviews. Any advise on what to focus on and what to expect? Thanks
How did things go?
Was a group interview all Clinical questions LOL. They said they will let me know the results. I also have another interview scheduled next week with Keisser University in Florida. They have a Rolling admissions and accept students in Spring and fall. Check that one too so we can be classmates if we both get accepted LOL. Will keep you in the loop how they all go.
I had a virtual interview,
part clinical and part getting-to-know-you questions. A bit nerve wrecking tho. said we should hear back on Friday/Monday
Good luck to you both! This is the only school I’ve applied to for now and I’m a ball of nerves. Hopefully the clinical questions are derived from your experience or something you mention.

Totally agree with this post. I used CRNA Prep Academy which is affiliated with this group and did several mock interviews. They helped me with nerves and wordiness of my answer. Also I had a big issue with selling myself and things that made my application stand out. Just remember they saw something in you if you’re being interviewed. Best of luck/prayers and hope to see you all in the Fall.
