Union University Accelerated BSN Interview

U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

I have applied for Fall 2014, but I have not heard anything about whether or not I was accepted. I know I won't hear for a while, but I figured I'd use the waiting period to prepare for an interview in case I get one. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect.

Also can anyone tell me how long the waited until they heard about getting an interview and how long after that until they heard they were accepted or not?

hi there, I'm still waiting to hear back from them and I applied before the Dec 1st 2013 deadline for the Fall 2014 semester. I was told that there's no interview for the Accelerated BSN....have you heard anything yet? I've called and emailed, and have heard nothing.

Still haven't heard anything, but I wasn't able to submit mine until January because I was waiting on a grade to post for my transcripts. Have you heard anything?

I saw in the catalog they have online that an interview is required for the accelerated program, but it doesn't have it listed on the checklist. I'm not really sure what to look at!! It seems like all the information on the school's site is scattered all over the place!!

Hey! I applied to Union University as well for fall 2014. I was wondering if you all paid an additional application fee with your supplemental application. I paid, I think, 45 dollars with the NURSCAS but I read some where online that we were supposed to pay another 50 dollars. I may have this all mixed up! It was kind of confusing on the website.

Yes I paid $45 for nursingcas services and $50 to union, so $95 total. I can't remember where exactly I went on union's site to pay. I think it may have been a link in the checklist. I'll see if I can find it and post it here!

Found it! Scroll down to the checklist and there's a link embedded in the text. https://www.uu.edu/programs/nursing/bsn/accelerated/

I double checked the catalogue about the interview. Either I read it wrong or they changed the wording (likely the first haha) but it says "an interview may be requested." I'm guessing that's for people they're on the fence about or if they have many qualified applicants they need to narrow down the pool.

There is a supplemental application fee, but I recall reading that they were waiving the fee for a few dates. I think it was Jan 15-Feb 1, but don't quote me on those dates. When I applied, the supplemental fee was waived but I did have to pay the Nursing CAS fee.

I talked to someone in admissions, and they said that my supplemental fee would be waived because I went to an information session. There are two fees to pay though the supplemental fee and NursingCAS. Thank you! Has anyone heard an answer of acceptance yet? I still have not received anything.

I haven't heard anything yet either.

Nothing yet. I read somewhere- I think it was actually a thread on here- that the people applying to the Germantown campus probably won't hear anything until April or May!!

Oh ok. Thanks! I applied to the Hendersonville campus.
