Union County College

Hi :

I was just wondering does anyone know about the LPN program @ ucc, because i have received a letter stating that i have been accepted, is it a good program . . . . or am i just wasting my time . . . . .

:uhoh21:

I say you go for it unless you can get into an RN program. Once you get licesed, you can just do a bridge.

Thanx . . . . . . . . so much

How did you go about being accepted into the LPN program, because I am in the same route but I haven't started the program. I start the program in September of 2007 with all my pre-req out of the way except for Psychology. Was it hard, I know there isnt a waiting list but did you wait long for your acceptance letter and what was your gpa, if you dont mind me asking. I would gladly appreciate it if you would give me as much advice needed to go about starting the program. Length, gpa, etc. P.S - I go to Union County College currnetly. Thanks in advance.

Well, all i did was apply for the LPN program and I took the college placement test, and then i got a letter stating that i have been accepted. Dont quote me on this, but i dont think you need a GPA, b/c so far they haven't asked me for mine. Im still in the process of getting all my classes together, financial aid, all that good stuff. But if you can give me info . . i would gladly appreciate that.:yeah:(im just so nervous about the whole thing) :chair:

all I know now is that all the classed are changing. The classes now for the program wont be the classes for the upcoming year.

really???????? they didnt tell me that b/c they sent me an outline of the program . . for this september

They are merging some of the classses probably to make the program shorter. I would greatly appreciate it if you can email me the outline they sent you and I can tell you if that is the od outline or the new one.

They sent me the old one . .. . . . . . . . i have to find out what the new courses are.

if you go on the website ucc.edu or from google; type in Union County College for the website. On the website you go to Academics and then Complete list of Programs. Look for the Practical Nursing section and then on that page you will find a link in which you will find the revised courses for the program.

:balloons: congratulations!!!!!:balloons: baby e :wink2:
