uniform allowance?

I recently got hired at a hospital. Are uniform allowances usually given? I do not know any of the details yet. I just graduated college (other healthcare field), and am pretty much broke! It would be nice.

My sister-in-law is a nurse at a hospital and told me that the hospital provides scrubs for them. They have the hospital logo on the scrubs and are a certain color. I know this may not be for every hospital, but the ones I have been to the nurses/aids are usually wearing scrubs w/ the hospital logo on them.
