Is anyone applying from out of state? If so, what do you think about the difference in tuition? Is it worth it to wait a year to become a Florida resident for tuition purposes?

UNF does currently charge out-of-state tuition, which you can find the current rates for on the university's website.

This is entirely personal. I assume you applied to schools in your local state and weren't admitted. If that's the case, and this is your only choice, is it worth it to you?

I am from FL, but private schools for nursing are NOT worth it to me. They never would be if there was a public/in-state tuition option. (I'm aware you weren't asking about public schools, but after the out of state tuition difference, I was just comparing myself going to a FL private school vs public)

For you, it might be. If you would have to give up a year of wages just to live in FL, I would say that there is no way it's worth it. If your wages would be similar and you would use that year to save up, sure.

Anyone find out a decision yet!? The wait is killing me lol.

Decisions are all out.

Accepted for the accelerated program!!! WOO!! Make sure you check your unf email lol.

Decisions are all out.

I haven't received one yet!

For another program my e-mail arrived later than everyone else's (I'm the end of the alphabet!), so just hold tight!

Edit: I don't have an Osprey e-mail :[. It's my understanding you don't have one unless you're an admitted student or attended previously. Has anyone with a non-osprey account heard?

I'm happy to make the ABSN facebook group if yall wanna private message me names!

I got accepted to the accelerated program as well!!!! So excited.

Accepted for the Regular Prelicensure program! So excited and relieved! Congratulations to all accepted.

I got in! I got in! Accelerated BSN! Woohoo!!!

Hey! jaxnurse2017 I'm not able to reply to your private message about the Facebook page :( It says that in order to reply, I have to have been more active on here. I guess I don't get on enough. Anyway! My name is Katerina Ponder. Would you please add me? Thank you for setting it up! I can't wait to meet everyone :)
