Anybody will attend the open house on Feb. 18th? I live in Orlando area and probably won't be able to make it. :(

Are you talking about the interview workshop?

Either way, I can't make it. I don't live in the area and already have a volunteer commitment.

Yeah. The interview workshop.

It says that 70% students got in after attending the interview. I am a little anxious that I won't be able to.

Thank you! :) Your score is awesome too! I put a ton of effort into studying and was practicing every spare minute I had. I definitely suggest the ATI test prep kit, and feel like this was the best way to prepare. I would study the manual and then elaborate on concepts via you tube videos. To everyone prepping for the test...you can do it!

SBA3,

Do you need A&P II before taking the TEAS? Or just A&P I? I'm in the middle of taking my pre-reqs now and trying to see when I need to start studying for my TEAS. I have seen some posts saying you only need A&P I and other posts saying to wait until you take A&P II because both are on the exam. TIA

I think the message they are trying to deliver is that if you prepare for the interview, you will have better results. I don't think (at least I don't hope, given that many of us are far away and can't attend these workshops) they intend to mean that you are given any sort of special preference for attending the workshop.

I attended a workshop last year at the campus where I am taking my pre-reqs, maybe you have something available around you? If not, I'd find some good videos on youtube, practice your answers etc.

It's hard to know what to say because you don't know what they will ask, but I think you will be good if you know how to speak about yourself, your strengths etc.

Crazydoglady,

Thanks for your tips. I am looking up interview information from the previous year and hopefully it will give me a hint of what to prepare. I really appreciate you taking time to write the long reply for me and I am so excited to meet you at the interview!

Hey guys, can't wait to meet some of y'all today! What are you wearing to the interview workshop?

Hello!

My interview is at 9:30 as well! I am nervous but excited.

Hey I know they gave some examples and tips at the workshop, but how are yall preparing for your interview?

Hi All,

I'm applying for Fall 2017 and submitted my application today (a little early, but trying to get them all complete this week). I've attended 3 undergrad institutions, so I'm not sure what my total GPA is, though I imagine it's fairly low compared to the application pool (probably hovering around a 3.3, BA in Mathematics). Does our prereq GPA count? I have almost a 4.0 in those, at least. Hopefully this doesn't hurt my application. My TEAS V is a 90.4% overall.

Good luck to all! I hope I get an interview in May :)

Specializes in OB.

Good luck to y'all who are interviewing today! Just remember to breathe, be yourself and work as a team within your group! And then relax, or attempt to the rest of this weekend. ;)

I'm always nervous for interviews, but I'm really happy/excited for this group one! I interviewed in a group as part of my first job interview process and it was my favorite exercise. Looking forward to the process!
