I've honestly been avoiding preparing! I'm pretty nervous. Did you go to the interview workshop?

omg I understand, I mean each person has ways to calm down, and I just find it relaxing to kinda keep myself busy. And yes I did! It was helpful. Did you go too? :)

I couldn't go because I'm from California. :-( do you have any good tips from it? Haha

Specializes in OB.

Hi y'all, I am a 3rd semester RPL at UNF. We are all really excited to meet y'all on Friday. For anyone who couldn't make it to the workshop, I would say the best thing to do prepare would be to practice, practice, practice, as much as possible with as many people as possible. The more questions your answer the more comfortable you will be in the actual interview. Also remember to get to know the names of the others in your groups so that you can work naturally (or as naturally as possible) together during the interview. One last thing, remember to breathe, y'all will be great!

Question... After receiving Beths email about "Home Base", I am curious about where I should write that I will be living (ASSUMING I am accepted). I currently live in Tampa and do not know the area, is it difficult to find housing? Beth said to just put "near UNF".....

At the workshop, someone told me of a "spread-sheet" to help find roommates/housing. Does anyone know about that or have more info?

Im doing RPL Friday at 11:30 am, but im arriving at 10:45 like they recommended :D

did you ever find any information from previous years? If you could forward it to me I would really appreciate it! I have my Fall 2017 BSN RPL interview this Friday :)

@zuesabear Im sorry i can't provide a response lol but I've had that question in the back of my head for a while. A lot of us seem to be coming from another area and will need a roomate or a way of living if we do get in the program. On campus is my last resort due to the expense. Anybody knows anything about if there's any help on campus finding a roomate if needed?

Thank you for the tips @mrsjsuckow & @zuesabear are they asking us where we will live because they will make the home base near where we put? (If we are accepted...) (never mind - just read the email again haha)

@CRJ123 Oh wow, that's like so far from Jacksonville! :) and I'm sorry you couldn't attend the workshop. The nursing students talked about basically wearing professional attire--business casual, and pretty much the basics of a "professional" interview. They were also emphasizing on how we shouldn't be so harsh and competitive with our interview group mates, and that we should build each other up and work together as a team. Also, arriving like an hour or 45 minutes early to the venue would be optimal.

That's basically what I got out of the workshop :)

@BrienneofTarth yep it's pretty far, but my boyfriend is from Jacksonville and is currently living there, so that's how I know of it haha. Thanks for the tips! :-)

Good luck to everyone tomorrow :D May the odds be ever in our favor :)
