I just took the UNF TEAS exam. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who took this exam or got into school here at UNF? My grades are 3.9 gpa my TEAS score was not as good as I would have liked. I figured it out and I know they do the points out of 800. I am at a 720.5 IS that bad or good? Do I have a chance? Please anyone!!!

I cannot help you out with any info on UNF acceptance but just wanted to say Hi! I'm planning on starting pre-reqs at FCCJ this May and applying to UNF the following May. Keep this post updated with your progress, I would love to follow it through. GOOD LUCK!

I am not sure about how exactly the test but I know a few people who had a 3.7 GPA and did not get in..I am not trying to discourage you...Because a few points can mean all the world...But I would call UNF and ask them what their average admittance points are...

Hi-
Are you applying to the Pre-licensure or Accelerated Program?
I am currently attending the Accelerated program. Good luck. Feel free to email if you want any advice. If you have a 3.9, you will be fine!!
BeachGirl - I'm looking to start the acclerated program in May 09. I will start the pre-reqs in May 08. I currently hold my bachlors and master in accounting. How do you like the acclerated program at UNF? How far along are you? What was your major/career before nursing?
Nice to meet you!
Hi Gretchen-
My previous major was Communication. I just finished my second semester (whoo hoo!!)
Um, as far as liking the program..... It is really unorganized and most of the instructors are on a power trip. You can't beat being done in 13 months though. It is a really tough curriculum. I would not advise taking on anything (i.e. pregnancy, wedding etc) you don't have to.
Good Luck!
Beach Girl - Thanks for the info! Congrats in your progress so far and good luck with the rest of your program.
