UNF Summer 2014 BSN hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone!

With the deadline only a little over a month away, I figured we all need a place to stress, hope and worry! I just took my first stab at the TEAS and hit the average score of the past few years (335). I have a 3.9 GPA. One pre-req left. Applying for ABSN. I'm scheduled for a second TEAS attempt next month. How is everyone else doing? Drooling over stats as much as I am?? Any interview preparation plans?

I feel all of your pain! I was there not that long ago. You all looked great at your interviews and I enjoyed talking with all of you (although only briefly). The quickest way to see if accepted is to check MyWings (most of you know that). Postings will take a little longer because of the accelerated students. I confirmed that all your letters were sent this AM. Good Luck to everyone! I'm sure all of you will make it (and if you don't please apply in the fall). UNF nursing really is a wonderful family to be a part of!

Hello, all! I am anxiously awaiting the results with you... I am new to the forum. Good luck, everyone!

Welcome!! :-)

Hi all, just getting a chance to check this. In all honesty, I haven't been freaking out today because for me, it really boils down to whether or not I get into the accelerated, which we won't know until we get the letter I don't think. So it is the letter I am incredibly anxious about. Though I suppose seeing "accepted/admitted" is the first step. Also hearing back an acceptance from some of my other backup schools has helped ease the stress. I definitely hope I get in though, time will tell. I really hope things work out for everyone on here!

Im at work, and i am FREAKING out, i keep checking my Wings. Im training a new girl at reception and I have to tell her sorry but I have to keep checking bc my stomach is in knots right now.

Any one from 8:30 group 2 on here??

Also I met a guy walking to up to the interview and we took the elevator together and talked in line until we got seperated by groups? Are you on this form? I cant remember your name :( lol

I was 830 group 1! So close!

Awesome info! Thanks:up:

I wonder if maybe those who live in Jacksonville will get their letters today... I would think they'd definitely be here by tomorrow!

So, it sounds like the sending of letters is a different process than pressing the admit, deny, waitlist buttons in MyWings, eh? lol DOH! The freaking continues!

Thanks for the insider info :)

I doubt it. Probably not until tomorrow or wednesday the way my mail lady works! lol

lol we are all so funny

I know what you mean. It would be nice to know if I'm accepted, but I'm only considering the accelerated program. Does anyone know if it specifies which program you're admitted into?

I think she updates the program on my wings. I'm down for whatever! Even waitlist! lol

Nursh, same here! I'm thinking that I will be wait listed just because everyone probably did very well on the interview and I'm kind of not so sure about mine.. I would be more than happy to be wait listed but the continuous wait would be super annoying! lol

You never know what they were looking for, you know?! Who's to say? Just gotta wait and see :) Either way, it's been awesome getting to know y'all!
