UNF Fall 2013 BSN

Anybody else out there applying for UNF for the fall?? Less than a month left to get all of the paperwork in order. I'm so afraid of missing something!! I think all I have left to do is submit my summer schedule and my spring expected grade papers from the classes I'm taking now. Pre-reqs (nearly) done, TEAS taken, supplemental app submitted.....

Hadn't seen a post yet for the fall, so I figured I'd start and see if anybody out there was sitting on their hands, waiting for May!!

This is my second time.

Hey guys, I posted a few weeks ago. I actually got into the program at UWF. As much as UNF sounds great, I can't take the chance of not being accepted after an interview. I have to move my family from Miami. But incase they do give me an interview, I'll be passing it up which frees some space. Good luck to you ladies and gentlemen, never give up on your dream!

Dimov13- if it makes you feel any better, my score is very similar to yours. This is my first time applying so I hope I get in. My nerves are going crazy right now, I just want this week to be over! Lol. From reading threads, once you get an interview, the factors that factor in to getting accepted changes...I've driven myself crazy reading everyone's posts from like 1-3 years ago! I'm trying to think about what I'll do to increase my chances next time around if I don't get accepted. I'm open to suggestions! I wish the best of luck to you!

Stephanie.E - I'm sure I speak for quite a few people when I say thank you as well as, good luck in your program! I bet it feels like you're actually making "progress" now lol

I'm actually not going crazy or worried this time around. Whatever happens, happens. I just want to know if I got in, too bad it's a whole month wait for the interview. I did all that research too when I applied last year, I read every post too lol. A friend of mine is just starting her 5th semester at UNF nursing program and she got in with a 77 on her TEAS and a 4.0 prerequisite GPA.

Dimov13 - I assume that's how I'll be my 2nd time applying if I don't get in lol that gives me hope that I might still get an interview. Is she liking it?

I'm surprised there aren't more threads about this program too! I'm curious how many applications there are for the fall. It looks like my spring grades have been updated in mywings and I'm in the 2nd half of the alphabet :) I keep checking my email hoping for some good news. I just want to know!

Sunbaby0811 - I'm doing the same thing, every time my phone alerts me that I have a new email, my heart skips a beat. I'm in te first half of the alphabet but my spring grades haven't been updated yet...

She LOVES this program! She got accepted into FSCJ as well and she's so happy she chose UNF. She knows a few ppl in FSCJ program that are a little miserable:(

That's great to hear! I've heard so many mixed things about UNF, some who hate it because of the community aspect and they're disorganized and some who love it! At this point, I just want to be in a program lol. If anyone gets any responses/email or mail, let us know!!!

She just posted on fb for those of you that arent following you should. She said we should get an email late tomorrow or early thurs with interview dates but if we get nothing it most likely means a denial is in the mail :/

Trisha, I saw that on their Facebook. They should just be consistent and either email everyone or USPS everyone. How depressing to know your denial letter is on it's way to you if you don't hear anything by Thursday! I think they like torturing us!
