UNF ABSN/BSN FALL 2021

Hey guys, I haven’t seen a thread for UNF BSN and ABSN for the fall yet! I did apply for Summer but unfortunately did not get in so I’m applying for fall now! It’s always nice to talk to other people applying for the same program! I have a 3.6 overall and prereq GPA, and I scored a 339 (84.75) the first time I took the TEAS but will be retaking it for the fall application. My scores aren’t too great so hoping to do better on the TEAS and the interview this time around ?

@futurenuresdreams I'm sure you'll do amazing this time around! We got this. How do you guys feel about the size of the applicant pool? It seems smaller than it has been in past semesters, especially for Fall!

Did you see a final applicant pool number? I only saw the number of applications pending, but didn’t see the final total.

@KM11 I didn't see the final pool but on the day the applications were due, only 442 reviewed applicants (I can only assume that if the 256 were still pending on the day that applications were due, that they probably were no longer applying but didn't officially withdraw). Also, she only had 575 TEAS scores in (including retakes). Overall, This is a significantly low number compared to the 1,100 applicant pool for fall 2020!

Whoa! 1100 last year?! ? Yes, this semester sounds like there are considerably fewer applicants.

Same here! Congrats! Beth said there were about 880 applicants, a pool of 300 considered and 187 selected to interview.

I'm very surprised with the small applicant pool. Especially with this being fall term!

Hey guys! Me and my boyfriend both got interviews! We are both at 8:30. I hope we are not in the same group HAHA. Congrats everybody! For Summer there were 168 invitations sent out. It makes sense there are more because there will also be a Palm Coast Campus. I think it will be just as competitive for Summer. For Summer the final candidate pool tht they were considering for invitations was 400; fall was only 300! I wonder why.

Also 8:30! ? not sure why the pool is so much smaller than usual but I’m not complaining!

Same! I’m definitely happy it’s smaller LOL! My prereq GPA is only 3.59, but I’m hoping  with my 348 TEAS score (I calculated it wrong in my initial post) and if I do better on the interview I will have a chance!
