UNF ABSN/BSN FALL 2021

Hey guys, I haven’t seen a thread for UNF BSN and ABSN for the fall yet! I did apply for Summer but unfortunately did not get in so I’m applying for fall now! It’s always nice to talk to other people applying for the same program! I have a 3.6 overall and prereq GPA, and I scored a 339 (84.75) the first time I took the TEAS but will be retaking it for the fall application. My scores aren’t too great so hoping to do better on the TEAS and the interview this time around ?

I applied and am studying for the TEAS! I hope to take it end of April/early May. I'm torn between this program or moving back north so fingers crossed I get in and the decision is made for me!

I’m gonna take it again end of May too! Hopefully I do better for better chances. Beth said I didn't get in bc my interview had a moderate score. But the competition was really tough! Good luck:) are you applying to any other schools?

Hey everyone, I am SO nervous. I'm hoping to make the interview cutoff. My GPA isn't the most competitive, but I scored a 97% on the TEAS and I have a 710.4/800 overall. Fingers crossed and good luck to all of you :)

Your pre-req GPA or your cumulative? Fantastic TEAS score.

My pre req ? my cumulative is fine, but I’m hoping that my TEAS score gave me some breathing room!

Well if it doesn’t get you in, you can always retake some pre req classes? They said they take the highest attempt when considering your pre-req GPA ☺️ Best of luck to you!!

Thanks !! I’d rather not wait a whole year to apply again ?. If you don’t mind me asking, what are you stats? Is this your first time applying ?

Yea I definitely get that. I don’t want to wait for next Summer either. It is my first time applying. My cumulative GPA is low because I was a naive and lazy student back in 2004 when I graduated high school (2.91), but my pre-req GPA is 3.88 and TEAS was 90.7. I have a 751/800. (Seriously so impressed with your TEAS score!)

Your stats are SO well rounded !! I would be honestly surprised if you didn’t get an interview slot ?

Hopefully we both do! Scores over 700 are usually competitive for an interview. Fingers crossed! Let me know what happens! ?

Hi guys! Your scores are great you will def get an interview! I have a 708 and got an interview for Summer! Sadly did not get in bc I didn't so well in the interview. I knew IMMEDIATELY after I wasn’t gonna get in ? I was just too nervous in the interview and it showed. Beth said all I needed was to perform a bit better in the interview:(  Good luck for the Fall interview! I’m really hoping I do better for my own peace of mind, even if I don’t get accepted at least I will know I gave it my best shot. I know Fall is more competitive though.

Also forgot to add- once you get an interview the interview becomes 50% of what gets you in, and TEAS is 35% with prereq and cumulative GPA being the rest. With your TEAS scores you will both be just fine ?
