Just wanted to start a thread for UNE's ABSN program starting in January 2017. Anyone planning to attend this program?!
Hey littlefetts, i graduated from une's absn program this past May. Good resources, faculty is helpful.. portland maine very scenic- cold in the winter but its New England so ! I had my clinicals at Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital- both were good. long christmas breaK- which i appreciated! We used Kaplan throughout the entire program so that was also helpful! Good Luck!
Hi jodianh, can you explain what "we used Kaplan throughout the entire program" means? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how did you go about paying for a second bachelor's degree? This program is $70,000 and financial aid is limited due to having a previous bachelor's degree. Did you apply for any scholarships? Thank you!

littlefeets, I'd contact the programs you're wanting to attend after UNE (or the school you attend) and find out what accreditations they accept. From what I've read, both ACEN and CCNE are "two of the most recognized accrediting agencies in the nation."
Here's a website that helped me better understand the difference between the two.
