World Canada CA Programs

I'm currently finishing up my math course and getting ready to biology and chemistry through the ACE program but still undecided weather I want to take the RPN route or the RN route.

should I just drop biology and chemistry and wait til September to take pre-health and go from there?

I went through the AEC route (took Biology and Chem too!)

Before doing the AEC courses I thought that I'd have a higher chance of being accepted if I did the pre-health program but I received my acceptance offer today! (RPN at Sheridan and Centennial)

So I would recommend doing the AEC route, that way you would be able to save a bit of money!

I personally took pre-health before going into nursing.. It's great to get used to the college experience before you go into such a heavy program like nursing. Obviously its unfortunate the money that has to be spent but i think it's worth it.. and then you get out of classes like com and your general education courses later

I'v taken both ACE and Pre-health.. I took all my courses through ACE before taking Pre-health and I found it really helped me with Pre-health!

I had the grades to get into RPN and was accepted but after debating for over a year I took the year Pre-health course and now I applied for RN for fall 2016 as well as RPN. So far i'v been accepted to one college for RN and St.Clair college my first choice doesn't send out acceptances for nursing until March. I know it's a very hard choice ! You can also take Pre-health courses part time if you wanted to take a few over the summer that makes it easier but yes it is a little costly.

I myself also tried out the ACE courses and ended up in Pre-health but honestly my math sucks and I needed some extra help haha.

The only unfortunate thing about Pre-health is that even if you have already finished your math you will still be required to take math again to graduate, along with English (I'm not sure if you have that or not), at least that is what it was like here. However like someone had said above it was nice to have that extra college experience as well! I found that taking that year of Pre-health taught me how "I" needed to study for college exams and what worked and what didn't so ! Good luck :)
